CREDITS

First of all, I thank the people who've supported this project and it's development.

  • SuperOstrich: For giving me some guidance over the aircraft texturing, and lending me some of his WIP templates as a point of reference. Thank you!!
  • RythusOmega: He gave me suggestions and guidance over the specs of certain crafts, including the YRB-89 along with its design, he also suggested the name "Naberius" for it and made decals for the R-352 Sepia skin. He deserves a lot of appreciation!
  • Colamitous: He took part of his time to help in the descriptions and localization texts. Thank you for your hard work!
  • Nicht: He guided me through the blueprint-making procedure to make the NPB functional, without his help, this weapon couldn't be made. It's the first custom Weapon BP to be released.
  • ApriliaBelka: He designed the working mechanism of the IRCM of Varcolac, along with its particle settings. Thank you so much!
  • Kosnag: He made the NPB possible thanks to their efforts on the development of the Project Template!
  • Greenlight: He also helped on the Project template development, along with a script/tool that allows for ACX model ripping. It was a very important step for the development of this mod!
  • Skylake: His skin works for ACX were the main inspiration to make the Orcinus, Asterozoa and Sepia skin. Thank you!
  • Lanzerince:He managed to give ideas and specs over the weaponry used for the 6 aircrafts, thank you!
  • Knight Valfodr,Lacus Clyne: They helped on debugging and testing some of the aircraft specs, along with their feedback and some photos. It's very appreciated!
  • Growler: He modified the NPB, making it accurate to its real life variant! (Applied on YR-302)
  • Ret-HZ: He made the tool named Nemesis , capable of extracting ACX files for further modification

  • LocusDio: His works and dedication to his project were also a motivation for me to continue forward on this project, thank you for being an excellent artist.

DESCRIPTION

The mod uses and remasters the models from the aircraft fictionals of Ace Combat X/Joint Assault/Xi, and joins them in a single pack of 6 models you can use without any sort of replacement, they also have a different behavior in both weaponry and performance. The content goes as follows:

XFA-24A Apalis

A carrier-capable multirole strike fighter designed around a practical concept: "high versatility, regardless of the battlefield." Its excellent combat results are owed to a dependable and multipurpose design.

Designed with versatility and cost-effectiveness in mind first and foremost, its greatest strength is its high degree of adaptability. Due to its designers’ emphasis on reliability over marginal increases in performance, the XFA-24A uses many common parts in its construction. As a result, the aircraft is both highly customizable and easy to maintain, with no shortage of spare parts.

Together with fuel-efficient engines, it boasts a large maximum payload and excellent maneuverability, as a result of its canards and double-delta wing configuration. While not overly outstanding in terms of performance, the XFA-24A uses three-dimensional thrust vectoring nozzles to gain further advantages in combat.

It is the sole user of an experimental special ground-scanning sensor suite known as “Earth Shaker,” which grants it overwhelmingly dominant capabilities in the air-to-surface role, but its dogfighting abilities remain quite potent.

Its nickname is “Apalis,” referring to a type of songbird.

YR-99 Forneus

An advanced prototype for a next-generation stealth fighter. Its slender appearance disguises fierce combat capabilities that suit its uncanny countenance.

The YR-99 incorporates a radical new form of laminar flow control, dubbed a “breathing wing” by its design team. The details of such technology, however, remain veiled in thick layers of secrecy. Its stealth capabilities are significant, but are much more dependent on the airframe materials and avionics rather than aerodynamic shaping.

Due to its designers’ aggressive adoption of emerging technologies, the YR-99’s development costs are extremely high, ballooning far beyond what would be considered ‘normal’ for a fighter aircraft. As such, no mass production variant is currently on the horizon, and it remains relegated to the roles of testbed, prototype, and proof-of-concept.

Its nickname is “Forneus,” referring to a great demon that takes the form of a sea monster.

YRB-89 Naberius

A prototype aircraft derived from the YR-99 Forneus, though redesigned to specialize in the role of interdiction and tactical bombing.

It shares many of the same strengths of its forefather, such as the “breathing wing” laminar flow control system, along with formidable stealth capabilities. However, it is very noticeably slower and less agile than the YR-99, on account of its larger airframe and increased payload.

Similarly to the Forneus, development costs for the YRB-89 are extremely high, ballooning to absurd heights as a result of aggressively integrating new technologies. As such, its designers currently do not intend for it to be produced in large numbers, and mass production is a far-off dream.

Its nickname is “Naberius,” referring to a great demon that takes the form of a raven with three canine heads.

YR-302 Fregata

A large prototype attack aircraft characterized by its unique four-engined configuration.

Its thick armor and large payload makes it extremely heavy, but a combination of high thrust and thrust vectoring control supports its mobility to an acceptable standard, despite the added weight of onboard fuel. Its internal layout — constricted by the large engines and the equally large fuel tanks needed to support them — is extremely complicated and lacks ease of maintenance. It also consumes a lot of fuel and has a relatively short cruising time as a result. While it employs the Connection for Flight Interface (COFFIN) system, it only does so to the minimum necessary extent, a trend shared with the rest of its avionics.

During the craft’s development, there were rumors that it might be a spaceplane due to its unique shape. However, it was actually developed with the sole purpose of ground attack in mind, and despite rumors to the contrary, its high-altitude combat capabilities are rather poor.

Its nickname is “Fregata,” meaning “frigatebird.”

XR-302 Fregatidae

A large, experimental attack aircraft characterized by its unique four-engined configuration.

While some models employ the Connection for Flight Interface (COFFIN) system, this variant uses a conventional glass canopy and cockpit instead.

During the craft’s development, there were rumors that it might be a spaceplane due to its unique shape. However, it was actually developed with the sole purpose of ground attack in mind, and despite rumors to the contrary, its high-altitude combat capabilities are rather poor.

Its nickname is “Fregatidae,” meaning “frigatebird.”

XR-45 Cariburn

An experimental interceptor designed by the aerospace division of a certain multinational corporation as part of a next-generation fighter concept.

Equipped with a Connection for Flight Interface (COFFIN) system and incorporating canards, forward-swept wings, thrust-vectoring nozzles, and other elements to improve its combat acumen, this craft boasts unparalleled aerial combat capabilities in the hands of an expert pilot. However, the aerodynamic characteristics of its nose intake and forward-swept wings prevent it from attaining speeds comparable to its contemporaries.

Additionally, the XR-45’s sensitive controls make it tricky to fly for even average pilots, with potential upgrades only making the craft more responsive and twitchy. Therefore, it requires discipline and skill on the part of the pilot to fly this craft effectively. However, its incredible turning abilities make the XR-45 an excellent choice for true masters of the sky, who are able to tame its wild movements and utilize it to the fullest.

Its nickname is “Cariburn.”

In order to make it work, you need to use the XFA-33 FENRIR - Skies of Deception mod, made by ApriliaBelka!

INSTALLATION

  • Go to your Ace Combat 7 installation folder. (Usually located inSteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ACECOMBAT7\Game\Content\Paks)
  • Create the folder "~mods" inside"\ACE COMBAT 7\Game\Content\Paks"
  • Extract the file into the mentioned folder (Or in a subfolder in the same ~mods folder, in case you're using Sincerity's Addon compatibility patches)
  • Done! Enjoy!

FAQ

  • "My mod doesn't work/doesn't show up, the names don't appear in the aircraft list. Why?"

Most likely you've put the mod in the wrong directory. Check your Paks directory, make the ~mods folder and extract the file accordingly, make sure to check the tildes as well, which is explained below.

  • "My mod has a different ammo count and/or behaves differently and/or has a wrong aircraft name, why?"
The mod might use certain files that conflicts with other mods that also change ammo count and localization texts.
These files are called "Datatable" and "Localization" files accordingly, and in order to give priority to this mod's datatable and/or localization, increase the amount of tildes (~) before the mod name.

Example: ~~~~Modname_P.pak

  • "Can I upload your mod somewhere else?"

You can only do that with my consent. Anything else is strictly forbidden.

  • "Can I use some of your assets for my mod, please?"
Of course you can, but make sure to give me credit for the assets you're using. You're forbidden to reupload the models, unless they've been massively changed or leads to a completely different product.

  • "Can I request you on doing X mod or Y mod?"

Sure, if you pay me money for your request. I recommend you to contact me through Discord: megalith_8492 in case you're willing to pay. Prices can be negotiated.

  • "Could you please add a compatibility pak for the rest of add-on aircrafts?"

Sorry, but that's up to Sincerity's compatibility files, as he takes care over the patches for aircraft add-ons. In case there's no compatibility yet, I suggest you to BE PATIENT and not put any sort of pressure towards him or myself.

In case you have a question different than the ones shown, or your situation hasn't been solved after trying everything you can, then make sure to send a bug report and explain in detail your situation, and I'll try my best to solve your problem.

Any comments like "Idk it doesn't work correctly" or messages without context will be inmediately closed and ignored.
