I’m looking for advice on how to effectively farm Archonshards in Warframe. I know some people do EDA/ETA, but I haven’t had any luck getting shards from that mode. I just started playing again a week ago and only have two decent frames and two weapons of each type. The weekly grind for shards seems like it will take forever. Is there an easier way to farm them instead of waiting each week or relying on netracells? I’ve built Sevagoth and Octavia, but they really need those Archonshards to shine in this tough content.

You can indeed grab some from the 1999 calendar. Just a heads-up – the players you see with tons of shards have been farming them for years, so try not to feel pressured to catch up too quickly. Archonshards are helpful but not necessary to fully enjoy the game.

You can snag Archonshards from six main sources in the game:
– The weekly Archon hunt gives you one for sure.
– If you hit max Cavia rank, you can buy one weekly from Bird 3.
– You might find some in netracells and from both Deep and Temporal Archimedea.
– Occasionally, they pop up in the 1999 calendar as rewards.

If you find EDA/ETA too tough right now, your best bet is netracells or just get a buddy to carry you through it. Those modes can really test you, especially if you’re just getting back into the game.

That’s the cool part – you really don’t need those shards to enjoy the game! You can still tackle all sorts of content. Octavia can handle Steel Path with ease without them, so just focus on improving your build and mod setups!

There’s really no true farm for Archonshards aside from those weekly activities. You can buy one from Bird 3 each week for 30,000 standing. Since you’re starting out, maybe focus on leveling your arcanes for added strength and try your luck with netracells if Archimedea is too tricky right now.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll focus on arcanes for now.

Absolutely, arcanes can give you a solid boost while you work on getting shards!

Honestly, you don’t really ‘farm’ Archonshards in the traditional sense. They come from weekly time-limited activities. Just stick to your weekly grind; that’s how you’ll get them in the end.

EDA and ETA are pretty much the toughest modes in the game right now. If you’re struggling there, I’d recommend building up your standing with Cavia and making that weekly purchase from Bird 3. Also, don’t forget to check the 1999 calendar because there are sometimes shards available as rewards, along with the Archon hunts you already know about!
